School Writing Competition

Our school every year organizes a Writing Competition to encourage students to develop their writing skills, creativity, vocabulary, and command of language. The competition provides every student with an opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas through writing and helps them build confidence in their written communication.

The competition is conducted at three different levels according to the students’ age and academic stage:

• Primary Section
• Junior Section
• Senior Section

Students from each section participate in the competition at their respective level. After the preliminary round, the best-performing students from each section are selected for the next level of the competition. This selection encourages students to improve their skills and motivates them to perform to the best of their ability.

Judging Criteria

Students are evaluated on various aspects of writing, including:

• Writing ability and presentation
• Creativity and originality of ideas
• Vocabulary and word-building skills
• Sentence formation
• Correct use of grammar
• Spelling accuracy
• Correct formation and use of letters
• Clarity and organization of thoughts
• Overall quality and neatness of the written work

The competition aims not only to identify talented young writers but also to nurture a habit of creative thinking, accurate writing, and effective communication among students.

Recognition of Winners

To appreciate and encourage the efforts of our young writers, three winners are selected from each category, and First, Second, and Third positions are awarded. The winners are recognized for their outstanding performance and serve as an inspiration to other students.

Through this competition, our school strives to create a positive and engaging environment where every student gets the opportunity to think, create, write, and excel. It is an important initiative for developing strong language skills and fostering creativity among our students.
